Senior DevOps Engineer

A growing technology company is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help design, build, and scale its cloud platform and engineering infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and operation of AWS-based infrastructure and Kubernetes environments.
• Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
• Drive security, reliability, observability, and operational best practices.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and performance issues.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve developer experience and platform capabilities.
• Participate in incident response and provide technical leadership within the DevOps function.

Requirements

• 8+ years' experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Strong expertise across AWS services including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, and OpenSearch.
• Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and containerised workloads.
• Advanced Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform and/or Pulumi).
• Strong Python and Bash scripting skills.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and mentoring abilities.

Desirable

• Experience with Snowflake, Apache Airflow, or modern data platforms.
• Background in regulated or high-growth environments.
• Passion for automation, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence.
